Cloudflare and the website couldn’t agree on encryption. Not you.

The secure handshake between Cloudflare and the website’s server failed. Your own connection to Cloudflare was fine. Waiting won’t change it. This is a server setting. It stays broken until the owner fixes it.

What to do about a 525

  1. Try again lateronly the owner can fix this.
  2. Tell the site owner.Copy the report below; the Ray ID tells them exactly which request failed.

Nothing on your side causes this. VPN, cookies and browser do not matter here.

525 — if you run this site

  1. The origin does not have a certificate but the SSL mode is Full
  2. The origin does not support the SNI hostname or Cloudflare’s cipher suites
  3. Port 443 at the origin is not serving TLS at all

Install a valid certificate on the origin (a Cloudflare Origin CA certificate is free), enable SNI, and set the SSL mode to Full (strict).
